Finally, here comes a pattern for my socks in english.
It is really challenging and very fun to translate into english. Hopefully I have used the right words and expressions. Exciting:)
So here it comes I proudly present

Yarn: Colin ( cotton and linen) from Järbo Garn
Gauge/Tension: 23-24 sts and 32 rows in stockinette on needles 3.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm
Sizes: 34-36(37-40)41-44 cm
Needles: 2.5 and 3.5 mm
Double pointed needles: 2.5 mm och 3.5 mm
Elastic thread

PATTERN
Row 1 (right side): X yo, knit 2 together, knit 1 X repeat X-X
Row 2, 3 and 4: stockinette/stocking sts
Row 5: X knit 1, yo, knit 2 together X, repeat X-X
Row 6, 7 och 8: stockinette/stocking sts
Row 1 (right side): X yo, knit 2 together, knit 1 X repeat X-X
Row 2, 3 and 4: stockinette/stocking sts
Row 5: X knit 1, yo, knit 2 together X, repeat X-X
Row 6, 7 och 8: stockinette/stocking sts
Repeat row 1-8.
The piece is worked in the round with
double pointed needles, top down.
Cast on 48(52)56 sts with double pointed needles size
2.5 mm, divide sts evenly on 4 needles = 12(13)14 sts on each needle.
Work in rib (= knit 1 purl 1) for 7 rounds. Note! If you want to, add an elastic thread while knitting the rib. Change to double pointed needles size 3.5 mm.
Work in stockinette/stocking sts (= knit all rounds). Decrease on round 1 2 sts evenly on needle 2 and needle 3. Knit 1 round.
HEEL
Work in stockinette/stocking sts , back and forth on needle 1 and 2 for 16(16)20 rows (last row = wrong side). On next row (= right side) make short rows and decreases as follows: knit 14, knit 2 together through backloops, knit 1, turn piece, slip 1 purlwise, purl 5, purl 2 together, purl 1, turn piece, slip 1, knit 6, knit 2 together through backloops, knit 1, turn piece, slip 1 purlwise, purl 7, purl 2 together, purl 1, turn piece. Continue to decrease in this way until all sts on side are knitted. Continue in stockinette/stocking sts on needle 1 and 2.
Pick up/knit up 13(13)15 sts on right side of piece ( = needle 2), work in stockinette/stocking sts on needle 3 and 4, pick up/knit up 13(13)15 sts on left side of piece and continue with remaining sts from heel (= needle 1).
Work 1 round in stockinette/stocking sts on all needles. Decrease 1 on needle 3. NOTE! Sts on needle 3 and needle 4 = top of foot. Work in pattern as described on needle 3 and 4 and in stockinette on needle 1 and 2. On next round decrease on needle 1 and needle 2 as follows: (it is the newly picked up sts that will be decreased): On needle 2: At the end knit 2 together. On needle 1: At the beginning knit 2 together in backloops. Repeat decrease every other round until 43(47)51 sts remains. Put remaining sts evenly on 4 needles.
FOOT
Continue in pattern and stockinette/stocking sts until foot measures 17-18(19-20)21-22 cm.
TOE
Decrease on needle 1 and needle 3 as follows: knit 1, knit 2 together, knit remaining sts. On needle 2 and 4: Knit until 3 sts remain, knit 2 together in backloops, knit 1. Repeat decrease every other round 12 sts remain on needle 1 and 2, and 11 sts on needle 3 and 4. Cut yarn and pull it through the remaining sts. Tighten and fasten well.
